Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing great. Especially with the holiday today, I hope you’re enjoying the free time. Here in Oaxaca things have been super good and just continue to get better.
Transfers! (Part 2) Transfers happened on Monday/Tuesday of last week and it turned out to be a bit of a crazy ride. My new companion is Elder Woodward, an American from Washington State with about 7 months in the mission, in other words, one transfer less than me. Meaning that I got put as senior companion! So this week has been a complete change for me and I honestly did not feel ready to lead an area. But the Lord had other plans for me and has helped me an unbelievable amount this past week.
Axel So Axel is a person we have in teaching and pretty much we started working with him when I got here to Santo Domingo seven weeks ago. He is 9 years old and the son of a member. The progress with him has come pretty slowly because of the church meetings over zoom and his family getting covid, but this week, with the help of his aunt, he attended church and loved it! He has huge desires to be baptized and we have gotten special permission to baptize him next Sunday! However, and absurd number of things need to happen for him to get baptized on Sunday. Please, please help this happen. Pray for him as much as you can, and I know a miracle will come!
The Rest of the Work Apart from Axel, a few other things happened this week. We have been working a ton more with the members and just got word that next Sunday will have meetings in-person again! So hopefully the work will pick up greatly and we can have a great transfer from there on.

Have a fantastic week! Take care!
