Hey everyone! How are you all doing? I hope you had a fantastic week with tons of miracles and success! Here in Oaxaca we had quite the week and it was something I couldn’t have dreamed of, but still came to pass through the help of the Lord! Here we go!!
*Axel’s Baptism* On Sunday, Axel had his baptism! And it was super exciting to see it all come together. This past week we have been working as hard as possible in order to prepare him for that special day. And the hand of the Lord truly was with us and him because his family recovered from covid just in time to be a huge help and support in setting up appointments. Although he has had a tough time getting to church because the internet kept going out almost every Sunday, church finally opened this week in-persom and he was able to attend and be ready for his baptism! It was all one big miracle and is a huge blessing for Axel and his family!
*Hora de La Cosecha (Hour of the Harvest)* So there is this new initiative where we have an hour every afternoon solely to knock doors and contact in the street. And up till now, it has been a blast. Sure, a few days have been slow, but others quite interesting. Yesterday there was this crazy contact with a guy named Marcos and we literally just chatted with him in English for about 20 minutes, because he grew up in California and just wanted someone to talk to in English. But this initiative is sure to be a great one.
To finish, I just felt like sharing my testimony with you all. In this month of February, I felt like my faith in the Savior has grown leaps and bounds, and I now have an even more certain knowledge that God lives and really, truly, loves each of his children. He *wants* us to succeed and He will help us get where we need to be in His plan. I know it! And I testify of it in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
