Week 46: I’m Going to Train?

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great week and are preparing for another good one. This week for me here in Oaxaca was quite surprising and pretty special, with some big news upcoming.
I’m Going To Train Monday night, we got a surprise phone call from the mission president, and it originally was about my companion, Elder Carbajal, training. This was pretty expected from the things we have heard, but the fact that the call came on a Monday night was a change from the regular Sunday night calls. Then, after finishing up with my companion, Presidente Martinez asked me to train as well! So now both of us will be training next transfer. We then had to go to a meeting in the city of Oaxaca to be taught and trained how to train. It was a brief, two day trip, but still a good one in the city. There, we also met up with the other 7 missionaries that will be training next transfer too. I am a bit nervous, but terribly concerned about it. It should be a great experience.
Gerson and Jorge This week we made some more progress with Gerson and Jorge and finally set a baptismal date for them! Then what made it even better is that they were able to come to church with their dad, who had never come before! It was really cool to see them so excited and hopefully we can make this baptism happen for them!
Pictures! Just some fun ones of the week!
I hope you all have a great week! Take care! -Elder Ord
