Hey everyone! I hope you are all super well and are doing great! I know the Lord is looking out for you, so keep up the good work! This week for me was a special one and a huge point on the mission because…
One Year Out! That’s right! I hit my one year mark last Wednesday and it was incredible. It feels strange to have been out so long but to still have so much to look forward too. For the celebration we scheduled a dinner with this super awesome family in the ward (Familia Lagunas) and had one of my favorite foods down here in Oaxaca: Las Garnachas. We also bought a cake (as shown in the pictures) and ended the day off super great.
Dinners Apart from that dinner, we also got to have dinner Saturday night too with the Stake President becuase both our zone and district leaders are ending their missions in about a week and it was a send-off celebration. We had pizza and a super fun time with them too. Us missionaries in Oaxaca are extremely blessed because every day the members feed us lunch (called “comida”) and we get to spend time with them, but dinners are always a joy to have with members too and are very special.
