Hey everyone! I hope you’ve have a good last couple days and are getting into the swing of the Christmas Holiday. It’s already started here in Oaxaca, we hear Christmas music almost everywhere and the number of Christmas devotionals from the Church has really got us into the spirit. Now if only we had decorations for our house jaja.
*The Week* It technically was a shorter week because we had p-day just last Wednesday. However, that p-day felt more like a normal day because of the trainer/trainee meeting and the temple trip, so it really feels like we haven’t had a normal p-day for over two weeks at this point. I am going to enjoy today, just to get things done.
As for how the week went, it was pretty rough. Elder Tobler bummed up his ankle so he’s been dealing with that for a few days and we have had every lesson possible fall through. It’s been a grind, we’ve worked ourselves to death and I even think we’re a little sick too. Just one of those weeks I guess. Hopefully the next will be much better.
*Nacional Service Day* December 3rd was national service day in Mexico and the whole Oaxaca Mission helped out. We divided up throughout the varios stakes in Oaxaca and joined in the service projects going on. Elder Tobler and I headed to Oaxaca to help out there, and we cleaned up trash along the highway for a fee hours. It was pretty fun but having to wake up at 5:00am to go to Oaxaca City wasn’t too great jaja.
*Pictures*! -National Service Day! -This cool grafitti I found -The Heavens opening up or something, just a really cool picture of the sky
Take care everyone! Have a great week! -Elder Ord
