Mission Week 95: Palm Sunday

Hey everyone! I hope you had a great week and have even a better one planned during this Holy Week and upcoming Easter Sunday. For us here in Oaxaca, we continue living the dream and having fun while doing so. There is a lot of work still to be done in my area, but it is surely coming along. The time truly does fly by and sooner than I know it my days of “Seguirá el ejemplo de Jesucristo y será bautizado por alguien con la autoridad del Sacerdocio de Dios?” will be coming to a close. But there is still time, so it is to work then!
*General Conference * I really hope you all got to watch or listen to at least part of the conference. We were super blessed here because Elder Crandall and I watched it in Engish and we didn’t have too many problems with the internet. We also had a miracle where of the people we are teaching, Margarito, was out of the state visiting his family but was able to see the conference — with them! We were super excited to hear about that and I know it will be a great help for him. For me, the conference was incredible and there were so many talks that hit right to the core. One in particular that stood out was President Oak’s talk where he simply quoted words that Christ spoke durante his lifetime. It was a beautiful message to hear and really proves that “we believe in Christ” something that many people in the world think we don’t believe. I truly hope messages like this really could stick with each one of you!
*District Activity* Today we were able to have an incredible district activity where the 10 of us in District Zicatela traveled super far, got together, went to Punta Cometa (The southernmost tip of Oaxaca), and then had a great meal at a touristic restaurant afterwards. This activity basically has been in planning for a month and with a number of changes and stresses, we finally could get everything together have it work out nearly perfectly. Pictures are shown down below of the beautiful view that we experienced.
