Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing fantastic and have had a great week. Down here it was a crazy week full of miracles and experiences, and has just kept going and going!
Last Transfer (of the mission) Yep, that’s right. I’m finally onto my last transfer here in the Mexico Oaxaca Mission. Time is running out, but the work is speeding up. My new companion is Elder Chacon, who is from Washington DC and has about 7 months in the mission. We had a crazy week together finding and teaching and learning the area. It was a lot of fun, but also pretty tiring. Despite that, I’m up to do it again for another 5 weeks until we get some people baptized. This week we’ve got a lot planned like exchanges with the zone leaders and the elders who are in the Rio Grande area, so that should be pretty fun too.
Beach Trip This week we were incredibly blessed because today we got to go to the beach! On Sunday was the District Puerto Escondido Conference (like stake conference, but for branches) and President & Hermana Martinez came down to Puerto Escondido, so they planned a beach trip for the district too. The six of us got to go with the President and his wife, as well as the senior couple missionaries, the CastaƱedas. We played Volleyball, made sandcastles, then went to have brunch at this super good restaurant called El Cafecito. Truly it was one of the most memorable and special occasions I’ve had on my mission and how awesome it was to do it on my last transfer in the mission.
