Mission Week 99: The Last Conference

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? I hope everything is going good and life is treating you all pretty good. I’m still doing good down here in Oaxaca and just realizing that we are in one of the surf capitals of the world down here in Puerto Escondido always reminds me of how blessed I am to be serving the Lord. It is beautiful and plenty of miracles are to be seen every day.
*Last Multi-zone Confefence* This week we had a huge, multi-zone conference with all of the zones on the coast. Each district had to bring a piñata that they made. Out district decided to make one that resembled the golden plates jaja. The conference was super good and we had a couple fun activities too because of the Mexican holiday, Children’s Day. The bittersweet part of the conference was that I gave my “final testimony” because I’ll be finishing this transfer. It is hard to belive that my time has come and I’m now so close to the end. The conference really took a lot of energy out of us because we also had to travel about 6 hours to get there and 6 hours to go home. So riding at least 10 missionaries jammed into a sprinter van was not super comfortable and destroyed us for the rest of the week. Today finally we had some time to rest. Good times all around, and a good last conference to wrap it all up.
*The Rest of the Week* This week we worked super hard even though not much came of it. But on Tuesday we were able to give a little service to this one family by helping them move furniture. The missionary work for the week was a bit rough even though we gave our all. Bur sometimes it just goes that way.
