Mission Week 18

Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Life going well? I hope you’re having fun and working toward your dream too! Here in Oaxaca things are going pretty well. This was a super tough week with a lot of work, and it was really just a hint of what the future will be in the next few weeks.
Intercambios (Exchanges) This week I finally got to have some exchanges with other missionaries, and they were a blast. The first was with Elder Morgan, another American who speaks super good Spanish. We had a good day of appointments, bike riding, and finally getting to know some of the members. But it was a little stressful too because he came to my area, so I had to do a lot of the leading and directing. The second was the Zone Leader, Elder Avarell. He finishes his mission this week so he has a lot of experience, especially in Spanish. Once again the exchange was in my area so I did the leading, but it was a pretty chill day in the end.
The Youth The Bishop invited us to give a lesson to the Young Men on Saturday night for mutual, which was really fun, and afterwards we went and played futbol with them and had a blast, but I did get a nasty blister so the next week will be a little painful, but at least it doesn’t hurt when riding bikes
Transfers This week we got word of our transfers and it turns out I’ll be staying in Valle de Etla for at least another 6 weeks, and my companion will be leaving. So I’ll be getting a new companion who might be the district leader. Anyway, it is going to be a lot of work over the next few weeks!
Sorry for the shorter email today, we were a little busy! Take care everyone! Elder Ord
